Dennis Sossich (Poppy)
On January 29, 2021, Dennis Sossich passed away peacefully with family by his side. Dennis was born in the Bronx, NY in 1944 to Sally and Charles Sossich. He is survived by his beloved wife, Carol of 56 beautiful years and truly missed by his brother Greg and sister Cynthia, as well as his children Bruce, Sherry, Kelly and Greg. He is known as Poppy to his wonderful grandchildren Sara, Jeffrey, Kira and Sophia. Dennis served and protected the community as a Suffolk County Police Department Sergeant for 33 years. Dennis was one of the most caring, heartfelt people who would have always given to others before considering his own needs. Visitation under Covid19 guidelines will be held on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at 2 - 4 pm and 7 – 9 pm at the McManus Lorey Funeral Home at 2084 Horseblock Road, Medford, NY 11763. Private Cremation
