It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Robson U. Barreto, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Robson passed away on October 16, 2024, surrounded by loved ones at the age of 65.

Robson was born on January 23, 1959, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. In 1994, he embarked on a new chapter of his life, migrating to the United States with his wife, Tania Barreto, and their two daughters, Carolina and Camila Barreto, in pursuit of the American dream. Through his hard work and dedication, that dream was realized when he and his family proudly became American citizens—a milestone that filled him with immense pride.

A man of immense dedication, Robson worked tirelessly to provide for his family, achieving a master’s degree in engineering and building a successful career. His perseverance and fighting spirit were admired by all who knew him.

Outside of his professional life, Robson was a passionate and active member of the Sacred Thunder Motorcycle club. His leadership, loyalty, and camaraderie within the group were just a few of the qualities that endeared him to so many.

Above all, Robson was a devoted family man. He is survived by his loving wife, Tania Barreto, and his two daughters, Carolina Barreto and Camila Barreto. He was a proud grandfather to Jada Smith, Adriana Lezcano, Madison Smith, Aidan Ramirez, and Kaleb Smith. He is also survived by his sons, Kindu Smith and Diego Ramirez, both of whom he cared for deeply.

Robson will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family, his tireless work ethic, and the strength and compassion he showed to everyone he encountered. He leaves behind a legacy of love, integrity, and dedication that will continue to inspire those who knew him.
