Josephine Garcia (nee Sambolin)- of Shirley, New York passed away at the age of 88 years old on April 5, 2025. Josephine was born in Manhattan Borough, NY on February 17, 1937 to the adoring Parents, the Late George Sambolin and the Late Josephine Sambolin. Beloved Wife of the Late Johnnie Garcia. Loving Mother of Laura Ann (Vincent) Farrell, Johnnie (Lauren) Garcia, Jr. and Nancy Abbey. Dear Sister of Iris Fiorello, the Late Milton Sambolin, the Late George Sambolin, the Late Samuel Sambolin, the Late Edward Sambolin and the Late Mildred Feliciano. Cherished Grandmother of Vanessa, Vincent, James, Amanda and Brianna. There will be a Visitation for Josephine at McManus-Lorey Funeral Home, 2084 Horseblock Road, Medford, NY 11763 on Sunday, April 13, 2025, 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. A Prayer Service officiated by Deacon James DiGiovanna will take place during the Visitation on Sunday at 7:00 PM. There will be a Funeral Service for Josephine at McManus-Lorey Funeral Home on Monday, April 14, 2025 at 9:15 AM. A Funeral Mass will follow at The Church of St. Rosalie, 31 E Montauk Hwy, Hampton Bays, NY 11946 at 10:30 AM on Monday, April 14, 2025. An interment will follow at Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, NY.
