Anthony A. Wrublasky Obituary

Anthony Andrew Wrublasky, known as Andy to many, was a loving and devoted husband, father, stepfather, brother-in- law, grandfather, great-grandfather and longtime friend to so many passed away surrounded by the love he gave so freely throughout his life. Andy loved animals of every kind. He was a cat dad to five cats who truly loved him. He was a wise, compassionate, and hardworking man whose kindness touched everyone who knew him. A faithful man, Andy found strength in prayer and carried his devotion quietly but deeply throughout his life.

Andy went to Boston University and was a great athlete. He played college football; was also a wrestler and a weightlifter. He dedicated his life to helping others. Andy worked as a high school special education teacher at Copiague High School where he made a lasting impact on his students through patience, understanding, and encouragement. He also served at the Kings Park Psychiatric Center, where he helped children transition back into everyday life with dignity and care. Later, he continued his service at the VA Hospital as a Kinesio therapist, supporting veterans on their path to healing and recovery.

Andy shared 25 wonderful years with his beloved wife, Joanne, whose partnership was the cornerstone of his life. She truly was the love of his life. He has survived by his devoted wife Joanne; his loving daughter, Linda, sister-in-law Connie, stepchildren Joseph, Rocco, Brian, and Maria as well as 15 cherished grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren who will carry on his legacy of love and strength.

Known as a gentle giant, Andy was a man of kindness, great warmth, humility, and generosity. His presence brought comfort, his wisdom guided many, and his love will remain a lasting gift to all who knew him. He will be deeply missed and forever loved. Until we meet again
