Mr. Robert "Bob" E. Mistler, Sr., age 73 , of Medford, NY died Wednesday, January 14, 2009 at John J. Foley Skilled Nursing Center in Yaphank New York. Mr. Mistler, Sr. was the proprietor of Bob Mistler Fuels. He was a Veteran of the US Navy. Bob was a Past Chief and Fire Commishoner in the Medford Fire Department

He was the son of the late George and Cecelia G. Mistler.

He was the husband of Marlene Mistler(George).

Arrangements are being handled by McManus-Lorey Funeral Home, 2084 Horse Block Road, Medford, NY Funeral service will be at St. Sylvester R.C. Church at 9:45 AM on Monday January 19, 2009. Visitation at the Medford Fire House, 171 Oregon Avenue, Medford, on Saturday January 17, 2009 and Sunday Jaunuary 18, 2009 from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00-9:00 PM. Firematic Service Sunday 8:00 PM at the firehouse. Burial will be at Calverton National Cemetery in Calverton, NY on Monday, January 19, 2009.
