Gail Virginia Ekert, of Medford, New York went to heaven on May 7, 2011. Devoted wife of Francis J. Ekert, loving mother, adoring daughter, special nana, sister and aunt. Visiting hours Tuesday 1-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral Wednesday 9:00 AM from the McManus-Lorey Funeral Home 2084 Horseblock Road Medford. Funeral Mass Wednesday 9:45 AM at St. Sylvester R.C. Church. Interment Calverton National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please donate to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Gail’s special charity.
