Dorothy Lorey, age 88, of Glendale died Monday, February 17, 2020 at Calvary Hospital of Bronx, NY. Mrs. Lorey was born March 22, 1931. Wife of the late Charles Lorey. Beloved mother of Patricia Gorton and her husband Michael; Charles Lorey and his husband Sergio. Cherished Grandmother of Michael Gorton, Jr and his wife Melissa, Timothy Gorton, Corinne Lorey, Matthew Gorton and his wife Carmel and Christian Lorey and his wife Siobhan. Adored Great Grandmother of Gabriel Gorton and Conor Lorey. She is also survived by her "forever daughter-in-law" Dorothy Comodore and her husband Gregory. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Her laughter and smile will missed by all. Visiting hours will be Friday, February 21 from 2:00 - 8:00 PM at McManus-Lorey Funeral Home, 2084 Horse Block Road, Medford, NY. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 am on Saturday, February 22 at St. Sylvester R.C. Church, 68 Ohio Avenue, Medford, NY. Burial will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Coram.
