Obituary of Richard "Dick" E. Feldmann

Richard “Dick” E. Feldmann, age 92, of Holtsville died Sunday, July 10, 2022.  Dick was born December 17, 1929 in NY. He is the son of the late Harry and the late Rose (Deutermann) Feldmann.  He married Kathleen Kenna.  He was predeceased by his wife, Kathleen (Kenna) Feldmann on June 18, 2013. 

Dick was a Sergeant and served in the Marine Corps during the Korean war from 1947 to 1952. He was decorated twice for valor in combat and received the Bronze Star with the “V” citation for his incredible bravery in action.

Beloved husband of the late Kathleen.  Loving father of Joseph M. Feldmann and his wife Linda; and the late Richard and his wife Kathy Feldmann.  Cherished grandfather of Joseph, Steven, Katelyn, Amanda and James; Adored great grandfather of James, Michael, Jason, and Harper. Dear Brother of Walter Feldmann and the late Hank Feldmann.

Visiting hours will be Sunday, July 17 from 2-4PM- 7-9PM at McManus-Lorey Funeral Home, 2084 Horse Block Road, Medford, NY.

A prayer service will be held Sunday evening, July 17, 2022 at the McManus-Lorey Funeral Home, 2084 Horse Block Road, Medford, NY.

The funeral will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, July 18, 2022 at McManus-Lorey Funeral Home, 2084 Horse Block Road, Medford, NY.  Burial with honors will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Coram on Monday, July 18 at 11:00 am.
