Florence A. Scheller (nee Brendel), age 97, of Holtsville, NY, passed away Monday, January 30, 2023. Florence was born August 2, 1925 in Queens Borough, NY to the late William and Mary Brendel. Beloved wife of the late Robert Edward Scheller. Loving mother to her four predeceased children: Susan, Gary, Dennis A. and Jeffery Scheller. Cherished mother-in-law of Cynthia and Jeanette. Dear sister to her three siblings who were called home before her: William Brendel Jr., Rosetta Dunleavy and Helen O'Donnell. Devoted Grandmother of Wesley Scheller and Scott (Lee) Scheller. Loving Great Grandmother of Wesley Scheller Jr., Brianna Scheller and Henry Scheller. Beloved Aunt of Susan Dunleavy and Carol (Ken) A. Brand. Visitation on Sunday, February 5, 2023 from 2:00-4:00 PM and 7:00-9:00 PM at the McManus-Lorey Funeral Home, 2084 Horseblock Road, Medford, NY 11763. Funeral Service Monday, February 6, 2023 8:45 AM at McManus-Lorey Funeral Home. Funeral Mass Monday, February 6, 2023 9:30 AM at St. Sylvester R.C. Church, 68 Ohio Ave, Medford, NY 11763. Interment to follow at Long Island National Cemetery, 2040 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY 11735.
