I am both shocked and deeply saddened by the news of Jeffrey’s passing. I’ve known him all his life even though my contact with him has been minimal since leaving NY. I just spoke with him late April and am speechless and shocked to see this news on FB. I pray that he suffered no pain and his soul is with the Lord in heaven with his mom and brother, grandmother and Dad. My heart goes out to the family, especially you, Heather, who I know he loved deeply.

Jeff and I were long distance cousins so we didn't see each other regularly but he always made sure to check in on his Uncle Jim and Aunt Janet via text. He was always very caring and looked after others. He loved his family fiercely and he will be greatly missed!

When Jeff and Sean came to visit Jim and I in Virginia we took them to Kings Dominion. Those two were very brave and wanted to go on the ride Rebel Yell. Jim took Sean and I had Jeff. I do not remember how old he was, maybe 7. He was very excited to go on the biggest ride. We got on the ride and it started to go fast. Jeffrey suddenly let go of the hand rail. Back then it did not have seat belts so Jeffrey started to slide under the seat and about to fall out. I had to hold onto him as well as the hand rail for a very long ride.. I was so afraid he would fall out. He made that trip to Kings Dominion one that I will never forget. We went back to our apartment with them and had some chocolate pudding. We really enjoyed that visit with Joan, Sean and little Jeff. I will always remember you Jeff and the little boy that has always stayed in your heart!
