Obituary of Ida Meer

Ida Meer (nee Kempton), age 81, of Farmingville, NY passed away into the Gates of Heaven on May 28, 2023. Ida is survived by her Beloved Husband of 56 years, James G. Meer. Loving Mother of Donna M. Bolton (nee Meer) and Son-in-Love Paul E. Bolton. Adored Grandmother of Matthew J. Bolton. Cherished Sister of Elizabeth Biehl, Eileen Keating, the Late Patricia Taylor, The Late David Kempton and the Late Michael Kempton. Dear God-Mother of Pamela Catroppa. The list of loved ones who are left missing and loving Ida include many beloved nieces and nephews who meant so very much to her and always will. Ida belonged to the Farmingville Senior Club, enjoyed Bingo and LOVED cooking very much. Her family enjoyed everything she decided to cook for them, while she enjoyed feeding her family. There will be a visitation on Thursday, June 1, 2023, from 2:00 - 4:00 PM and 7:00 - 9:00 PM with a Religious Prayer Service at 7:30 PM taking place at McManus-Lorey Funeral Home, 2084 Horse Block Road, Medford, NY. A Private Cremation will take place following after. Any and everyone is invited to come pay their final respects while honoring the full life lived by Ida and sharing in the loving energy that always eminated from her.
