Mama D was the very best part of every Halloween! She loved any reason for a party and she had it all during Halloween! Costumes Makeup, decorations, tricks and treats and of course always music, sparkle and glitter! Our family will always treasure every moment we had with her and our Halloween will always be remembered most because of Mama D!! Her memory will always be for blessings! Hugs to all who love her.

Dearest Mama D… daughter of my friend Danielle D…
Although I didn’t know you while you were alive and well. I have been getting to know you through your daughter and family….
You seem like you were an amazing deeply wonderful lady and I wish I could have experienced and got to know you while you were alive and well.
I saw the angel in you as you lay in the hospital. Your skin was so soft and smooth. Your smile was there at times but I also saw and felt your struggle. I felt your wisdom as you took steps to wait for your family to come together before you were to leave this earth. I feel your heart, your joy, your spirit and your intelligence.
It was an honor to be beside your daughter to help you transition out of pain and back to your soul and light.
I promise to
love your daughter
Get to know your son
Honor your beautiful spirit
Learn from your life
Meet your tribe
And be present in your families life.

Mama Dee had the biggest heart that she shared freely with everyone. From the day I met her as one of Danielle's friends it was like we had known each other for years. She was always happy to have people around her to sing, dance and of course cook! She was one of a kind and will be missed greatly. I know you'll be watching over us!
