Obituary of Lorraine Mary Trocchio

Lorraine Mary Trocchio (nee Horan), age 84, of Coram, NY, entered into the Gates of Heaven on Tuesday, December 5, 2023. Lorraine was born on December 16, 1938 in Brooklyn, New York and in honor of her 85th Birthday, we will lay her to rest that day. Loving Mother of Marc Trocchio and Kathleen Covello.

Visitation will be held Saturday, December 16, 2023, 9:00 - 11:00 AM at McManus-Lorey Funeral Home, 2084 Horseblock Road, Medford, NY 11763. There will be a prayer service at the Funeral Home at 10:30 AM and immediately following will be an interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Coram, New York.

In lieu of flowers, a Scholarship has been created in Lorraine's name with The North Orange County Career Education Foundation that will be awarded to a deserving senior this school year who embodies all of the attributes of Lorraine Trocchio

Lorraine was as hardworking and loving as they come. As a School Lunch Attendant, she treated every kid like they were her own. Lorraine prided herself on telling her children about all of the free cookies and extra lunches she gave to students who could not afford them.  She would be honored and thrilled that this scholarship was created in her name.  Thank you for considering.
