Obituary of Robert A. Clements
Robert Clements, 80 years old, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, cousin and friend was called home on Tuesday, April 16th, 2024. Robert was born on October 15th, 1943 to Ambrose and Hazel Clements in Queens NY. Robert married Carol Neglia on May 2nd, 1964 in Hicksville NY.
He is survived by his devoted wife,
Carol, caring sister, Joyce Anglim, loving children, Patricia (John), Jacqueline (James), Robert (Gina), and Joseph (Kaidi), cherished grandchildren, Jonny, Mike (Nellie), Chris, Hailey, Kaleigh (Joe), Kieran, Emma (Rob), Sophia, Matteo, Adriano, Olivia, Talan, Charlie and Benjamin and his beautiful great-grandchildren Jackson, Rylan, Lincoln, Reagan, Sienna, Miller.
Robert dedicated 23 years of his life to the Suffolk County Police Department, where he served with honor and distinction as a Sergeant. His commitment to public service was unwavering, and he was respected by his colleagues and community alike.
Beyond his career in law enforcement, Robert had a passion for real estate. Whether it was helping others find their dream homes or investing in properties himself, his love for real estate was evident to all who knew him.
He will be remembered not only for his professional achievements but also for his loving nature, his sense of humor, and the joy he brought to all of his family and friends.
A memorial visitation will be held on Sunday, April 28th from 2:00pm to 6:00pm at McManus-Lorey Funeral Home in Medford, NY. Please join us Monday, April 29, 2024 at Holy Sepulchre's Chapel in Coram, NY for an 11:00am funeral service.
