Grandma, when I think of you, so many special memories and moments come flooding to my mind. I can still hear your voice telling me how you carried me on your hip all the way to the top of the Statue of Liberty, that I had been there even though I was too small to remember. I can see you sitting on the floor building poster- sized puzzles of the new kids on the block with me and Amanda. I can smell the perfume that always filled the room when you were around, letting me know even before I saw you that you had come to visit. When I think of you grandma, I think of a woman I always admired, a woman who taught me to love with all her heart, to travel as much as possible and truly experience the places I go, and that no matter how small you are you can still be the largest person in the room, captivating everyone in it with your energy. I love you so much Grandma and I will always be your little angel. I hope you are dancing in heaven, a glass of Chardonnay in hand, preparing a dinner party with all those who love you. I’ll always remember you telling me I look most beautiful dancing, I got that from you Grandma.
