Rosa S. Vaz, age 81, of Shirley, NY, died Friday July 10, 2015 at Brookhaven Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of the late John B. Vaz. She was survived by her loving children John(Maria), Manny(Elizabeth), Rose Mary(Jose)Silva, Regina(Mario)Galvao. Rosa was the cherished grandmother of John, Mario Jr., Paul, James, Kenny, Steven and Philip. Loving great-grandmother of John, Sofia, Preston, Mario III and Olivia. Rosa was also survived by her brother Angelo Lopes. Arrangements are entrusted to McManus-Lorey Funeral Home 2084 Horseblock Rd. Medford, NY. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday, July 13 from 2:00 - 4:00 PM and 7:00 - 9:00 PM. Funeral Tuesday July 14, 2015 at 9:15 AM from the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be on Tuesday July 14, 2015 at Church of The Resurrection 50 Granny Rd, Farmingville, NY 11738 at 10:00 AM. Burial to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Coram, NY.
