John was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War and past Commander of the William F. Taylor VFW Post 9486 in Ronkonkoma, NY.
He was the husband of the late Jacqueline Thornton.
Devoted Father of Robert, John, Ian, and Shawn.
Beloved Grandfather of Michelle, Keith, Julia, and John.
Cherished Great-Grandfather of Jayden and Makayla.
Arrangements have been entrusted to McManus-Lorey Funeral Home 2084 Horseblock Rd. Medford, NY 11763.
Visitation on Thursday, May 19, 2016 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM & 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM. Funeral Service Friday, May 20, 2016 at 10:00 AM.
Burial at Calverton National Cemetery in Calverton, NY.
