Obituary of Louis T. D'Ambrosio

Louis Thomas D'Ambrosio, 73, passed away November 8, 2016. He was born on March 7, 1943 in Brooklyn, New York, the son of Michael and Josephine (Palestro) D'Ambrosio and moved here in 1991 from New York. He was Catholic by faith. In addition to his parents, Louis is predeceased by his beloved son Michael, May 2015, Sister, Connie Falzon, her husband, Joseph. Louis retired from the New York Sanitation Department as an engineer after 20 years. He also retired from Hernando County Schools as a bus driver after 10 years. He enjoyed baseball and was a diehard Met's fan. He loved to cook and spend time with his family. Louis is survived by his wife, Mary of Spring Hill 3 daughters, Joy Wilson and her husband, Joseph Werner, of Medford New York and Patrick Wilson,(ex-husband) of Medford, New York Stefanie Macialek and her husband, Jason, of Farmingville, New York Maria Holm and her husband, Robert, of Melville Daughter in law, Elizabeth D'Ambrosio, New York 5 grandchildren, Jessica Heege and her husband, Nick Heege Kristie Lynn Wilson Chrissy Munoz Matthew Munoz Michael D'Ambrosio Sister, Elizabeth Lyons and her husband, John, of Hazlett, New Jersey Niece Maria Lalima and her husband Richard, of Hazlett, New Jersey Nephews Joey Lyons and his wife, Jamie Shaun Lyons Louis is also survived by his extended family, from his wife, Mary Daughter Tamara Hutter and her husband, Jeff Hutter of Clermont, Florida Son Robert Vernon and his wife Kim 4 grandchildren, Raeanna Hutter her husband, Danial Durham Ashley Hutter Devin Vernon Hailey Vernon Louis was well loved by his family and friends and will be missed. A Memorial Visitation will be held at McManus-Lorey Funeral Home on Saturday, November 26, 2016 from 2:00pm to 5:00pm. There will be a prayer service at 4:00pm at the funeral home.
