Obituary of Joshua Angelo Mileto

Joshua, or as he was affectionately known Josh, was born July 21, 2001 at Southside Hosptial BayShore New York. Josh was a wide receiver and cornerback for Sachem football but his first love was baseball. Josh loved the camaraderie and brotherhood of his team’s. At home his brotherhood includes his older brother Nick and his 2 younger brothers Andrew and Jake. He was the epitome of a Boy Scout both in life and rite. And like a great Boy Scout family was his everything. He never let a day go by that he didn't kiss his mother, Sayyida, or tell his father, Angelo, he loved him. He also made sure his great grandmother, Rita, knew how special she was to him. And let’s not forget his 6 minute handshakes with his best friend, Jason. To Josh his community was a part of his family and the feeling was mutual as He and his devoted girlfriend, Gabby, were elected to be a part of homecoming court last year. Josh loved music but had horrible taste in it, lol, and he loved to dance but wouldn’t let you see him. He loved watching Fresh Prince of Bel'Aire, classic, and would dominate the DVR with recordings. He also was team Lucas and Peyton for One Tree Hill. He was a funny kid with an underrated sense of humor with impeccable taste in fashion. Joshua was his own set of class and his love of life and his infectious spirit will forever live on in all of those we were honored to have known him. Arrangements have been entrusted to McManus-Lorey Funeral Home, 2084 Horse Block Road, Medford, NY. Visitation will be on Monday, August 14, 2017 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Funeral Service will be on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at 8:45 AM. Funeral Mass will be at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton R.C. Church, 800 Portion Road, Ronkonkoma, NY at 9:45 AM. Interment to follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Coram, NY.
