Walter D. Johnson of Coram, NY. Age 78, died on February 13, 2018 in Stony Brook. Walter was a dedicated life long member of the FDNY in Brooklyn, NY. Survived by his beloved wife Laurena A. Johnson. Loving father of Walter Jr., Brendan G. and predeceased by his son Michael K. Johnson. Adored brother of Marilyn Forhane (Donald). Cherished grandfather of Henry and Wyatt Johnson. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the McManus-Lorey Funeral Home 2084 Horseblock Rd. in Medford, NY. Visitation on Monday, February 19, 2018 from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM & 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM. A prayer service for Walter will take place on Monday 3:00 PM. Military Honors will be conducted at McManus-Lorey Funeral Home on Monday following the prayer service. Funeral Service on Tuesday February 20 at 10:15 AM. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Coram, NY.
