Edmund A. Tester, age 91, of Medford, NY. Died on December 7, 2018 in Nesconset, NY. Professionally known as Jazzbo the Clown. Predeceased by his beloved wife Margie Ruth Tester and their son, Edmund Jr.(Tracy). Survived by his loving children Teresa Carter(Dennis), Michael Tester, Steven Woolworth, Margret McKeever(James) and Cindi Scibelli. Cherished Grandfather of 5 Grandchildren and 2 Great-Grandchildren. Professionally known as Jazzbo the Clown, Edmund started as a circus clown and was soon performing with well-known entertainers, Abbott and Costello, Martin and Lewis, Jack Benny and Eddie Cantor. He was also a magician, an artist and a writer. But most of us knew him only from his appearances as Jolly Jazzbo. Visitation on Wednesday, December 12 from 2:00 - 4:00 PM & 7:00 - 9:00 PM. Funeral Mass on Thursday December 13, 9:30 AM at St. Sylvester R.C. Church in Medford. Burial at St. Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale, NY.
