Joseph T. LaForgia, age 89, of Selden died Monday, December 17, 2018.  Mr. LaForgia was born June 7, 1929 in Queens, NY. He is the son of the late John and Mary LaForgia.  He was the husband of the late Dorothy LaForgia  He served in the Army during the Korean War Era from 1951 to 1953. 

 

He is survived by his loving children, June, Joseph, Mary & Anna; his cherished grandchildren, Amanda, Joseph & Dominick; and his dear brother Jerry.

 

Visiting hours will be Wednesday, December 19 from 2:00 - 4:00 PM & 7:00 - 9:00 PM at McManus-Lorey Funeral Home, 2084 Horse Block Road, Medford, NY.

 

A Mass of Christian burial will be held 9:45 am on Thursday, December 20 at St. Margaret Of Scotland R.C. Church, 81 College Road, Selden, NY.  Burial with honors will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Coram, NY.»(Do not delete this line.
