Linda and I were heartbroken to hear the news of your passing Ron. I’ve known for a few weeks now, but every time I’ve tried to write a note here my eyes have filled with tears and I couldn’t see the screen. I wanted to see you so much over the last years but distance and finances hadn’t permitted me to. Probably just as well - we would’ve caused a frenzy if they all heard we were singing somewhere together again! You were a great person, entertainer, and business partner, but most of all a truly great friend. I thank you for working with me as we started out both the first time doing this krazy thing called Karaoke! Who’d a thought 27 years later we both were still at it! I know you’re hosting a few nights up there in god’s Ball room, when I get there we’re gonna really put on a show. Miss you so much, buddy. You can have the song we shared singing, and that final line is all yours... cause you certainly did it “your way” !!!! Yes Ronnie, you did it your way.

To Barbara; You were loved by a wonderful man. Though I never met you or Ron, I could tell of his love for you by the way he always spoke your name. I know he is resting in Heaven this day. My heartfelt condolence to you.
To Ron;
You were a friend I never met in person, but I felt we were friends the first time I called you and told you I was in the same company as you in Vietnam. You were there a year or so earlier but you remembered the 51st Medical Co. and you told me of some of your friends from that time. My phone calls to you were not as frequent as they should have been but you always were so gracious and kind, thanking me .Your call to me and the last time we spoke was memorable for me. At that time I expressed to you how much I enjoyed your upbeat spirit, your love for others, your beautiful voice.
Until we meet in Heaven- Rest in peace.---------------------Darrell Smith

To the “world’s most amazing and dearest Dad”, who is the strongest and bravest man I know. You will always be my superhero and I will forever be your little girl. There are many wonderful memories that will forever live in my heart. I hear your voice singing in my head and that’s why we will never be apart. Oh that voice of yours, it was the most amazing one I ever heard. Every time I hear your voice, it tickles my heart. My daddy, you were the first man in my life and yes you loved me first then you gave me away to Brian your (son-in-law ) who adored you so. He made a promise to you that he would take care of me and then you let me go. But daddy you will always be my first love. Also, your son, my brother Michael, loved his Daddy so. It took a special kind of man to have the patience and compassion you had for your boy. Your grandchildren will always remember all of the fun memories they made with you swimming, singing, playing and laughing and your sense of humor. I know you are now our angel and will continue to watch over us.
God saw you were getting tired and a cure was not to be, so he put his arms around you, and whispered, “come to me“. With tearful eyes we watched you, and saw you pass away. Although we love you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating and hard-working hands are now at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, he only takes the best. Until we meet again!
With All Our Love, your (little girl), Laura Legotti Sudbrink, your (boy) Michael Legotti and your grandchildren, Julia, Justin and Jessica

Ronny came into our family with his music and song. Sang from his soul at all our family events and my class reunion parties for the class of 1970, BHS.
Because of his passion for all music, he brought out all the hidden songs in everyone. Including my sister Barbara, who loved him very very much.
They shined like a couple of little kids in a candy shop..brought out the best qualities in everyone his songs touched.
The music was his heart and he shared it with everyone who listened.

Ronny,
No more pills, no more Hurt. You are free, You are born again. God has taken you to his beautiful kingdom where there is no pain just love.
Thank you for your friendship and making me sound good at karaoke. Thank you for all the good times we had at eleanors and when you sang with me. Your kindness and great personality made being at eleanors a pleasure to be at..You always made me feel good when I got up to sing making me feel like a rock star. It was so wonderful seeing your face as you sang with so much passion and love. It was your lifes passion to be up in front of everyone to show off your amazing talent. Thanks for making me laugh when you danced. Which was so enjoyable to watch. You and Barbara made my nights when I came to see you. I sang with you 22 years ago at the Bunnery and I sang with you for 4 years at Eleanors and when we meet again we'll sing together again for eternity.
Jump Jive and wail and I did it my way and Proud Mary.
Not only were you a beautiful person in and out but now you are a beautiful angel. Fly high spread your wings and sing your heart away up there. They are going to love you Ronny
I miss you already. Karaoke will never be the same without you. You are and alway will be the "KING OF KARAOKE"
Love you Ronny
I'll make sure Barbara is always ok..
Take care my friend. Your new life has just began.. peace and love.
