I first met Joe in 8th grade at St. Aloysius in Great Neck, NY. At my 13th birthday party, he hung out hy the record player and picked out tunes. No surprise there, right. After many years, Joe and I reconnected on FB. I regret not being able to see him, but at the time I had returned from FL to live in NY, he just wasn't feeling up to a visit. Joe shared lots of his music with me and I will continue to enjoy it. Wherever you are Joe, I hope you are enjoying your next adventure. Perhaps we'll meet again. Sure hope so.

On Friday May 17th, I lost my best friend and brother, Joe. I've known Joe since the 3rd grade in St. Aloysius in great neck. There isn't words to express the depth and devastation I feel with Joe's passing. I will forever embrace the memories I have of Joe, and all the wonderful things we shared over the years. As a fellow brother and veteran, my respect for him as a person who loved and served our great country is endless. He saved many lives in Viet Nam while flying Hueys on countless dangerous missions. This country has lost another hero. My heart, love and prayers go out to Ruth Anne and his entire family. He will forever be in our hearts until we join him in heaven ... I miss you, my brother ... Rick
