Elizabeth “Betty” (Conelias) Ferguson, 90, of Wellington, Florida, passed away peacefully on the evening of July 1, 2019, with her family by her side.

 

Betty grew up in Astoria, NY, daughter of Pavlos & Marianthe (Foundos) Conelias. Betty lived a fulfilling life as a loving mother to Marianne Ferguson, an amazing wife to her late husband John S. Ferguson, loving sister to Fanny Hutchingson, Trent & Joanne Conelias, aunt to many wonderful nieces and nephews, and a friend to everyone she met. Betty was predeceased by her loyal dog Bailey.

 

Betty retired from a successful career at Macys and enjoyed spending time with her family, trying her luck at the casino, and preparing wonderful meals over the holidays.

 

A funeral service celebrating her life will be held on Friday, July 12, 2019 from 12noon to 1 PM in the McManus-Lorey Funeral Home 2084 Horseblock Road Medford, New York 11763.  Burial will follow at 2PM in Calverton National Cemetery 210 Princeton Boulevard Calverton, New York 11933. 

 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Betty’s name to Trustbridge Hospice of Palm Beach County, 5300 East Avenue   West Palm Beach, Florida 33407,  www.trustbridgefoundation.org or Saint Mark Greek Orthodox Church 2100 Yamato Road of Boca Raton, Florida  33421.
