Obituary of Marjorie L. Gayah

Marjorie L. Gayah, age 94, of Medford died Monday, October 7, 2019 at home.  Ms. Gayah was born June 12, 1925 in Trinidad. She is the wife of the late Roopall Gayah.  She is the daughter of the late Chin Kim Loy and the late Chen Kim Len. 

 

She was the proprietor of employed by Canton City in Trinidad. 

 

She is survived by three daughters: Maureen Gayah-Ramsawack, Carol Gayah and Nadira Gayah, and two sons: Taran Gayah and Kelvin Gayah. She also has fifteen grandchildren including Wendy, Vijai, Anthony and Sheldon, nine great-grandchildren; her son-in-law Ramaish; and her most dedicated caregiver Mela, of 11 years

 

Marjorie is by her daughter, Sylvia Gayah, and husband, Rooplall Gayah.

 

Visiting hours will be Wednesday, October 9 from Visitation 6:00 - 9:00 PM at McManus-Lorey Funeral Home, 2084 Horse Block Road, Medford, NY.

 

A funeral service will be held 12:00 pm on October 10, 2019 at McManus-Lorey Funeral Home, 2084 Horse Block Road, Medford, NY.  Cremation will follow in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Center Moriches on Thursday, October 10 at 1:30 pm.
