The last time we saw Alice was at our 50th wedding Anniversary three years ago. Although not fully aware, she knew it was a party and enjoyed it to the fullest. She had that winning smile for us all day. She was the ideal in "Mother". All of her children grew to be fine ladies and gentlemen with families of their own. There was a photo on Facebook of Alice and her extended family. Wow! It's so hard to believe that one person was responsible for all those people! Through the years, Tommy and I always looked forward to seeing Alice at family affairs. She made life worth living. You may bury Alice but you can never bury the person she was. Our deepest sympathy for all who loved her. Tommy and Maureen Landers

Grandma Alice was introduced to me back in 2012 as The G-Unit, by her Grandson, David. Hearing that made her laugh! You met her once and just loved her. Her sweet demeanor & smiling face always amazed me considering all the heartache she encountered throughout her years. No doubt that the love & support of her family helped her to persevere. I’m proud she not only had the opportunity to spend time with her Great Granddaughter, MaryAlice Gracen Wynne, but that Gracen has a special first name. My condolences to the family. May all your happy memories help you through this sad time. Melissa Fontana

Growing up with nine kids, very little money, very little food but endless love from this woman! She would always make food last a lifetime. She would make a pot roast on Sunday, and Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday you know you’ll have it again in some way, shape, or form. That woman could cook!
