Like others, I saw Luke's name in the New York Times cover spread. When I searched his name, I was struck by how full of life and energy he looks. What brings this even closer to home is that I am also in an interracial marriage with an Indian woman. I looked just a happy in my Sherwani when we tied the knot this January. I know these are just words for a stranger, but perhaps it provides some small solace knowing that your story has given me a huge appreciate for what I have, and a reminder of how easy it can be to lose.
