Angelo M. Baranello, Sr., 83, of Medford, on December 10, 2011. Cherished father of Lisa Baranello and the late Angelo, Jr. Beloved brother of Letizia DeVeau and Emily Germano. Pre-Deceased by his siblings Dominic, Agnes Perry and Donato Baranello. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Angelo was a 1945 graduate of Bellport H.S. where he was a varsity athlete. He served in the US Army in the Philippines during WWII. An accomplished gardener, stone mason and avid animal lover, Angelo was a member of the Brookhaven Democratic Committee. He served 17 years at the Suffolk County Board of Elections as a Chief Voting Machine Technician.
