Even though its been over 2 years since you passed, I still try to hide from the fact that you where taken way to early and are gone from this life.
I was very lucky to have known not only you but your whole family. From your mother, to your brother and sister.
I had the privilege to help you in wrestling. I spent many hours both on the mat and off the mat. Having you live so close to me, we grew close, and I was able to take you to tournaments.
I recall one time, you wanted to quit wrestling and play basketball, I couldn't accept that. I spent hours trying to convince you not to give up and too stick with it. That whole summer we talked everyday. So we made a bet, I promised to never bring up wrestling again if you could beat me one on one in basketball, and if I won you would wrestle. We player to 21. I gave you 20 point lead, all you had to do was score 1 point, I didn't let you know that basketball was my second favorite sport. I ender up winning, and you didn't complain or tried to go back on your bet, you stayed true to the bet and wrestled the next 4 years without ever bringing it up again. You always gave me everything you had when I coached you. I couldn't of asked for a better kid to coach. You are greatly missed, I will cherish all the matches I got to corner you and all the times we drilled together. I was always happy when you would stop by to say hello!!!! Until we meet again.
