I used to work with Eliot and every encounter was a fun pleasant one. I was updating my access badge list when his name came across and I had to pause for a moment. He was a good guy and continues to be missed. May his memory bring peace to those that knew and loved him. RIP Eliot.

Around 1990, I sat two rows behind Eliot during a workshop. I did not know him then. I whispered to my manager at the time, “That person is brilliant; we should hire him!” I don’t take credit for Eliot joining ITS/Equant/Orange as a Novell Instructor, but I’m so glad it happened. I had him as a student in my classes, but also as a peer teaching other students. The things Eliot did made you instantly love his spirit; I have yet to meet another person like him, nor do I think I ever will!
If we had a conversation, it was always deep and intellectual. He took his time to choose his words carefully and lovingly, not only to make sure that the right message was shared, but also to be thoughtful towards those who listened. He always had a smile on his face and made sure, with his humorous storytelling, that you had a smile too.
Eliot has never been “gone” to me. In my heart & mind, I believe that he has just moved forward to the next phase of his beautiful journey of existence. And I know that we will all see him again.

To the cousin, that I got to know later in life after working together for years. He had the driest sense of humor that entertained us all but especially customers he was presenting to. Miss you, my friend. This world is a little less without you.

My dear Eliot, I will miss our endless chats whenever you were in the NYC office. I remember when you met Karen you were so excited, your face lit up every time you talked to me about her. You met the love of your life, your partner. You were one the kindest most gentle person I’ve met and I’m glad I got to tell you that years ago. You had such a dry sense of humor. SIP my friend.

I was a co-worker and fan of Eliot for many years. He had a natural gift for teaching, especially for those of us ‘technology challenged’. You could count on a story about Crystal, from Drama Club to sign language, college to marriage and shared vacations. A warm smile, a great sense of humor and always an offer to help, even when it wasn’t his area of expertise. He wasn’t shy about sharing stories of bicycle accidents and races, Marathons, the cat and our shared dreaded episodes of Vertigo. I am truly glad to have known you. My condolences to your family.

Eliot and I worked together a while ago and, he told me what happened when he visited Disney World (E.T. ride); if you knew Eliot, You heard that that story too.
Eliot was truly an incredible soul, full of strength, love, and much more. Our deepest condolences to you and your family for your loss. We’ll always remember Eliot with a smile.

I only worked with Eliot for a couple of years at Orange. While being an expert in his area, he would patiently walk one (me) through what the issues were. He also had a dry sense of humor and treated everyone with respect. So sorry for the loss to his family.

Eliot, my friend, I was so very sad to hear this terrible news. During our many years of working together at Orange, you always had a clever story to share and always brought a smile to my face with your quick wit. You will be sorely missed. May you rest in peace.

Dear Eliot
Rest in peace, my friend. During our years in OBS, you came across the most knowledgeable , yet gentle and very down to earth. And stories! You had stories! Ive always looked upto you as a mentor more than a colleague! I learned a lot from you!
We will miss all the subtle humor too! You leave a vacuum, shoes hard to fill! You'll shine on in our memories and will make your next abode a better place with your presence!
