Your Mother was the epitome of graciousness and when we first met she could not have been welcoming and warm. My brother, Tim, could not have had a more loving and supportive mother in law. There are many things that Mrs Mohr imparted to me as a parent, while never interfering, that have made me a better parent. I will miss our vacations together and the Michigan Cronins love and miss her and her wisdom.

Kristi, Linda and Sue! I'm so sorry to hear that your Mom has left us! She was a wonderful lady. She and your Dad made me feel welcome and like family as a visitor to your house back in the 80s and the 90s. In the years following, when I would call for Kristi, she would always surprise me with, "of course I remember you, Jim Smith!" When Kristi wasn't home, I enjoyed chatting with her.
She was so proud of all three of you. I'm so sorry to hear that we lost her! I hope that in the coming months and years, you all find comfort in your wonderful memories of her and in the company of each other.

The year was 1991. I was driving 9 hours from Niagara Falls to Medford to meet my girlfriend's parents for the first time. A lengthy ride with no cell phones, a few mixed tapes, the occasional stop for gas and a lot of time to think about how to introduce myself to Linda's parents. I had it all figured out - with an hour to spare. My speech was all ready for the front door introduction. I pulled into the driveway, walked to the front stoop and before I could climb the two stairs to the front door, Lucretia swung the screen door open and before I could even begin my introductory speech, she said "You must be starving. I made some lasagna." These words exemplified the most caring, considerate and wonderful mother-in-law any guy could ever ask for. Mom's door was always open, no matter what time of day or night, the fridge always had food and one Heineken (probably not meant for me but...) Not only did I marry her wonderful daughter the following year, I became part of this amazing family, something that will bring pride and joy to me for all my days. Lucretia is my Mother and always will be. She had me at "lasagna".

Please do not buy any flowers or plant a tree for the family. We prefer you donate to one of the three charities' link on the obituary page. Mom would have wanted the money to be spent on helping others.
Thank you for loving our Mom.
Love,
Lu's daughter's (Susan, Kristi and Linda)
