To Michele and daughters, Andre was a shinning light for us at the rescue center, always ready to lend a hand and a smile. He made the difference in so our lives and all the animals he saved. He will always be remembered for his kind heart, good nature and sense of humor. He will be deeply missed and we are all the better for knowing him. Our hearts break with you. Andre was such an amazing soul. I only got to know him through the Neighborhood watch group. In the short time I got to know him, we became friends and wished I had more time to spend with him. Rest in Light and Love!!

My heart is so heavy now, but also filled with such warm thoughts of my nephew Jay. From an early age, I could tell that he was going to be someone special. Jay never failed to visit me during those times I ended up in the hospital. Once, being the first smiling face I saw after waking up from surgery. He went out of his way to make me feel loved. I was always so proud to say "that's my nephew!" I'm sure that his mother, Dolores, now has her arms around Jay in heaven. With deepest sympathy, Marguerite Berger

Jay was a truly good person who touched so many lives with kindness and generosity. His musical talents combined with his empathetic nature allowed Jay to reach out effortlessly to the hearts of others. Jay showed endless compassion to people, which, through his loving nature, he extended to all creatures. Jay's spirit lives on in his beautiful, talented daughters. May Gabrielle and Melanie, with their wonderful mother Michele, be comforted by the outpouring of love and support from all those whose lives were brightened by knowing Jay.
