Obituary of James M. Cogger

James M. Cogger, age 64, of Medford died Wednesday, December 29, 2021.  Jim was born November 3, 1957 in Bay Shore, NY. He is the son of the late Edward and the late Lois (Debremon) Cogger.  He married Darla E. Burke. 

 

Jim was a master plumber.  He served in the Coast Guard in 1976.  He was was a life member of the Medford Ambulance Corp.

 

He is survived by his beloved wife Darla E. (Burke) Cogger, his loving children Jessica Ocasio and her husband Luis and  James (Jimmy) M. Cogger, Jr., and his wife Donna.  Cherished grandfather of Tori, Kylie, Lucas, Karter, Troy and Lucille.  Dear Brother of Deborah Maile and her husband Steve and Susan Muscanera and her husband Michael. Adored uncle of Stephen Maile, Aileen Grimes, Kerry Grimes and Eddie Grimes.

 

Visiting hours will be Tuesday, January 4 from 2-4 PM & 7-9 PM at McManus-Lorey Funeral Home, 2084 Horse Block Road, Medford, NY.

 

A Firematic Prayer Service will be held on Tuesday January 4 at 7:30 PM at McManus-Lorey Funeral Home, 2084 Horse Block Road, Medford, NY.   This will be live streamed for those who are unable to attend in person. https://client.tribucast.com/tcid/8108079877

 

A private cremation will be held.
