I learnt of Kelly passing on Facebook through her mom, Denise. I was so heartbroken that part of me just died as well. Just two days before, I had text Denise to wish Joe, Happy Father's Day. Only to learn later that Kelly is no longer with us on the following Tuesday. I knew she had health issues but not that bad. Kelly used to be one of my co-workers along with her mom, her dad, Joe and her brother Scott at KMart, Farmingville, NY. During that time at KMart, I had met her other brother, Christian when he was visiting the store and then later I met her aunt, Denise's sister. I practically knew and met all of the family. My co-workers at KMart became my extended family, since I resigned and relocated to TX, just before the store finally closed. Kelly was just a happy go lucky person and always had a smile on her face. When we chat, it was always something to laugh about after. She is a very likeable person and someone that I enjoy working with. Kelly, you are an amazing person and will be dearly missed. No more pain to endure and now at peace. Rest peacefully with the Lord in Heaven. Until we meet again, Elvie

Omg my eldest great niece is gone. So sad, so hard to believe. Denise , Joe, Scott, Christian, Melanie and Family. So sorry for your loss. Kelly was at the airport when my daughter arrived from India. She will be missed by so many especially Natalie, Eli and Jacob. May our Lord of love hold each of you in the palm of His hands and give you the comfort you need right now. I love all of you. My prayers are with each of you. Rest In Peace Kelly!

We are so very sorry for the loss of your daughter Kelly. I have so many beautiful Florida memories with Kelly. She was the sweetest, kindest gal we have ever come across. She was always the first one to help out if you needed something. I enjoyed seeing her in Florida and I am so thankful that she spent the one Christmas with us in our home here. She had the biggest heart and always one of the first ones to help out on anything you needed. She always had a smile on her face and just so easy to get along with. I remember her telling us how she missed her little nieces and nephews on LI so much and I am so happy that she followed her heart and went back to LI to enjoy them. Sending you healing prayers and comforting hugs during this very difficult time. Hold all those wonderful memories close to your heart and know that heaven has truly gained a beautiful angel. Kelly was a sweet, loving woman who was always had a friendly smile and a wave for a neighbor. She was devoted to her family, and got the greatest joy out of being an aunt. She suffered so much, but always had a sense of humor about her issues. Caring about others until the end, it was important to Kelly to be an organ donor, that her death may save the lives of others. But the one thing I will always remember about Kelly is her love of wildflowers - I will see her smile in ever patch of flowers in find. We will miss you, Kelly.
