Broken Chain:
We little knew that morning that God was going to call your name. In life we loved you dearly. In death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone, for part of us went with you the day God called you home.
You left us peaceful memories your love is still our guide, and though we cannot see you , you are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same, but as God calls us one by one the chain will link again.

To my family and friends. We are gathered here today to honor my beloved mother. A loving and beautiful woman who cherished and loved her family dearly.. She was a strong, intelligent lady with a kind heart who enjoyed going to the theater and traveling with her children for vacation. She loved spoiling her grand kids. 2 things people may have not known about my mother are, in the early 1980's she could have run for mayor, to me at least because she knew half of Brooklyn the other thing is that she was passionate about education she would have made an excellent school teacher or professor. In closing I would just like to say Rest in Peace Mom. May your story continue to unfold in the heavens as beautifully as it did on earth. Love you Always!!! Your Son and Daughter ❤️❤️

My Dear Brother Steve, and my Adopted sister Angela... I am sending the love and support of my wife , our daughters and their families along with my tears for your mom.
My memories are of a strong determined woman. Who against all odds put her children first! Like many of us her life was not all we wanted it to be. But she worked and struggled to be a wonderful mom, and Grandmom. And from the kind word and loving memories I've read in these memories. Mrs. Grant you succeeded! Well done, Good and Faithful Servant! You are in the embrace of your creator and you are gazing down upon your loved ones and smiling... with tears and heavy hearts we will miss you.
