Sal Capizzi- of Port Jefferson Station, NY passed away at the age of 81 years old on May 27, 2024. Proud United States Army Veteran who also worked many years at the Long Island Rail Road as a Train Conductor. Sal was born in Brooklyn Borough, NY on April 7, 1943 to the parents, the Late Michael and Angelina (nee Godino) Capizzi. Beloved Husband of Sylvia Capizzi (nee Pierro). Loving Father of Dawn Danielsen (Joe Muselevichus) and Michael (Kristine) Capizzi. Dear Brother of Joseph (Marion) Capizzi and Robert (Kathy) Capizzi. Cherished Grandfather of Kaitlyn, Jesse, Jason, Rachel, Salvatore, John and Natalie. A Visitation will be held at the McManus-Lorey Funeral Home, 2084 Horseblock Road, Medford, NY 11763 on Saturday, June 1, 2024, and Sunday, June 2, 2024, 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM. A Religious Service will be held at McManus-Lorey Funeral Home on Sunday, June 2, 2024, at 2:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be held at McManus-Lorey Funeral Home, 2084 Horseblock Road, Medford, NY 11763 on Monday, June 3, 2024, at 9:00 AM. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, June 3, 2024, 10:00 AM at St. Gerard Majella R.C. Church, 300 Terryville Rd, Port Jefferson Station, NY 11776. An interment will follow at Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, NY with Military Honors in Honor of Sal's Service in the Army.
